There are thousands of professional poker players out there and some devote so much of their time and dedication to poker that they rarely have the time to have a life outside of the poker tournaments. While Phil Hellmuth dedicates allot of his time to the game of poker he still finds enough time to have a balanced life. To Phil, there is nothing more important than his family. To him Family is the number one priority and he truly respects any celebrity or person that puts family first. Phil has always had a spiritual aspect to him and always has the best wishes for his fellow man.
One of Phil's wishes is that all human beings one day see the good in everyone. If every human being thought this way, imagine the incredible good human beings could do on this earth. There would be no hunger, no wars, no disease and no hate. The earth would truly turn into a paradise for humanity. For a guy that’s done it all in the world of poker, Phil seems very humble and grounded.
Phil has a great wife Katherine and 2 awesome sons, Phillip and Nicholas. Phil Hellmuth’s wife even played in the ladies World Series Of Poker in 2005 where she eventually was eliminated by actress and also awesome poker player Jennifer Tilly. Katherine also has a very balanced life and also holds a degree in child psychology. Phil Hellmuth was born in Madison Wisconsin but currently resides in Palo Alto California.

I know im not a great poker player but the one thing me and Phil do have in common is we like music from the 80's and 90's. I truly believe that Phil is currently one of the best ambassadors of poker and will one day make poker as well known if not more then the other big sports in America. His skill as a poker player and balance as a human being are only outmatched by his pure will and desire to be the best he could be at poker and anything else he attempts to do in his life. Phil also believes that poker doesn’t require physical athleticism and therefore you must exercise your mind more in poker than in other sports. Not only that but in the game of poker whether you are playing online poker or offline poker you must also be a master psychologist in that you not only have to remember past hands against opponents but you must be able to tell if your opponent is bluffing or trying to take everything you have
